Becomes Reality

Daryl Headings, founder of Stagecoach Trail Organics, began to explore the options as reality slowly dawned on him – the local egg growers just couldn’t find a healthy and consistent pullet. It was clear the suppliers simply weren’t giving the chicks the care they needed. After much thought, his passion to provide better alternatives for the local farmers was brought to life.

In the spring of 2007, all the necessary preparations were finally completed, and Daryl, along with his family, received their first batch of fluffy yellow chicks. They tended to them with utmost care, and before long, the plucky fluffs of yellow changed to deeper browns – a clearly healthy chicken!

Over the next several years, Stagecoach Trail Organics gained local renown as the word rapidly spread from farmer to farmer. Several more farmers began raising pullets for STO, and new potential dawned on the horizon as the company began offering their services from coast to coast.

Today, Stagecoach Trail Organics’ passion is still throbbing strong. Our large and growing family of farmers are serious about raising quality turnkey pullets, and together, we advance towards a brighter future.
